How to know that you are going to heaven
50a rainbow promise
How do I know without a doubt that I'm going to heaven? Many ask this question either to themselves or in conversation about God. I have heard this question in different conversation and want so bad to assure the person with the question that they can have the peace of knowing that they are going to heaven. But the opportunity was not there for me to give them this assurance.
It is just like a gift. If someone wants to give you a gift, you can receive it or you can reject it. Salvation is the same, you can receive it or you can reject it.
How to know that I am gong to heaven
Salvation is a gift from God and must be received. (John 6:23; Eph. 2:8)
It is just like any kind of gift. If someone wants to give you a gift, you can receive it or you can reject it. Salvation is the same, you can receive it or you can reject it.
The bible has a lot to say about this subject.
The first thing that a person must do is to believe that God is and that he will make himself known to those who seek after him. Jeremiah 29:13
God loved us so much that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus) and that whosoever believe in him (Jesus) should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
It is so important to understand that every person that’s born into this world is need of a savior and God has provided us a Savior and his name is Jesus. But he will only save those who will confess and accept him as their savior and their lord.
Roman 10:9 state that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Verse 10 says that for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Another translation of the bible called the Voice, states it this way, so if you believe deep in your heart that God raised Jesus from the pit of death and if you voice your allegiance by confessing the truth that Jesus is Lord, then you will be saved!
Verse 10 says Belief begins in the heart and leads to a life that’s right with God; confession departs from our lips and brings eternal salvation

I Have Accepted the Gift -Now What
Just as a baby needs milk to grow, you now need the milk of the word of God. Just as baby will get choked from eating meat, you too need something that will help you grow. 1 Peter 2:2 tells us that as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
